In a unexpected crossover event that breaks traditional predictions, the game developer has announced an digital crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, including free bonus story content for Shadows players.
Peculiar Adventure Revealed
According to the formal statement, "A mysterious confrontation pulls protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh adventure, where rumors of forbidden rituals and terrifying metamorphoses resonate through the shadows." The storyline presents a "oddly attired woman named Ada" who charges the characters with journeying into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her friend from a secret group.
The adventure concentrates on "strange tests and a fearsome foe" and is open to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Familiar Places and Changes
The trailer showcases the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was previously where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The preview concludes with a powerful sequence showing a character, likely the captive, changing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who successfully complete the adventure will receive an special katana alongside numerous artifacts hidden throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also features in-store Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
